By submitting your video to TEXtv, you hereby grant TEXtv and its affiliates, successors, and assigns, the irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, and create derivative works from your uploaded video in any media now known or hereafter developed.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to grant the above rights to TEXtv. You understand that your submission may be used for promotional, marketing, or other purposes as deemed appropriate by TEXtv.

You release TEXtv from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of or related to the use of your video, including but not limited to any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of intellectual property rights.

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and TEXtv regarding the submission of your video and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

By checking the agreement box, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Release Agreement.

Tips for Making a Great Audition Video

Introduction:

Film yourself performing your talent. Start by introducing yourself including your name, where you're from, and what you'll be performing.

EXAMPLE: "Hi, I'm Macy Iverson, I'm from Plano, Texas, and I'm going to sing 'Wasted on You' by Morgan Wallen."

Tips for making a great audition video:

• Lighting: Make sure you are well-lit with more light in front of you than behind you.
• Aspect ratio: Landscape (turn your phone sideways).
• Camera: Place the camera/phone on a flat surface or tripod to keep it from shaking.
• Framing: Frame yourself so the focus is on YOU!
• Background: Choose a clean, uncluttered backdrop to keep the focus on you.
• Eye Contact: Look directly into the camera lens to engage with your audience.
• Clothing: Avoid busy patterns or logos.
• Audio Environment: Record in a quiet space to minimize background noise.
• Length: Keep your video under 5 minutes.
• Energy: Speak with enthusiasm to keep viewers engaged.
• Smile: Be natural and friendly.
